FALSIFIABILITY BRIEF

1 · Hypothesis (stated up front, falsifiable form)

H₁ — Operational claim. Two coordinates on opposite banks of the Columbia River Gorge — Mitchell Point (Oregon, south bank) and Underwood Mountain (Washington, north bank) — display anomalous, time-correlated ³He / ⁴He isotope-ratio enrichment in near-surface atmospheric and / or volcanic-outgassing samples, beyond the regional Cascade-arc baseline established by published CVO / PNSN datasets.

H₀ — Null hypothesis. ³He / ⁴He at both coordinates falls within ±2σ of the regional Cascade-arc baseline (~10–30 R/Rₐ at active arc volcanoes per Hilton et al., subduction-zone helium studies); no time-correlated co-variance between the two points is detected.

If H₀ holds, the Perceiver's Communication Hypothesis fails on this evidence channel and is publicly retracted on this same site within 72 hours of result publication. Confirmation, rejection, and silence are all valid responses — only the third is not science.

2 · Why ³He is the right test medium

• ³He is mantle-sourced and primordial. Elevated ³He / ⁴He ratios (R/Rₐ > 8) are an established mainstream proxy for active mantle-degassing pathways. The Cascade arc is documented as a mantle-degassing province.
• ³He is measurable today, by existing instruments. Portable quadrupole and magnetic-sector mass spectrometers routinely resolve R/Rₐ at the precisions required (≤0.1 R/Rₐ on a noble-gas line). No exotic apparatus needed.
• ³He is the published candidate fuel for clean aneutronic fusion.Any speculative non-conventional propulsion / energy-relay system using ³He-mediated reactions would, by elementary mass-balance, leak detectable isotope-ratio anomalies at the operational nodes.
• Co-variance, not absolute magnitude, is the key signal.Two arc-volcanic coordinates 5.2 km apart should not display time-correlated ³He / ⁴He spikes unless an underlying coupled process links them. The test asks whether the two points move together.

3 · The single-field-day protocol

1. Two paired sample stations — Station A: Mitchell Point summit vantage (Oregon, south bank, immediately south of I-84). Station B: Underwood Mountain summit (Washington, north bank).Precise paired-station coordinates are held in the Perceiver's field-credential vault and provided directly to engaging laboratories on confirmation of intent. Line-of-sight separation across the Columbia River ≈ 5.2 km.
2. Atmospheric noble-gas sampling — Stainless-steel passivated evacuated bottles (or equivalent) collecting one ground-level sample per station every 15 minutes over a 6-hour observation window. Total: ~25 paired samples.
3. Soil-gas / fumarole / spring-gas auxiliary sampling — Where passive volcanic-outgassing pathways exist on either headland, collect additional gas-tight syringe / Giggenbach-type bottle samples for direct degassing-line ³He / ⁴He ratio measurement.
4. Lab analysis — Standard noble-gas isotope-ratio mass spectrometry. Report R/Rₐ ± 1σ per station per time point.
5. Statistical test — Pearson cross-correlation of R/Rₐ time series between Station A and Station B over the 6-hour window. Significance threshold: r ≥ 0.60, p < 0.01 as a conservative confirmation bar. Anything below is a null result and the hypothesis is retracted.

Estimated cost: one field day, two technicians, one mass-spec run — inside the standard CVO / PNSN operating envelope. No new instruments required.

4 · Pre-declared outcome matrix

Corridor-scale context (added 18 MAY 2026; updated 19 MAY 2026): the Mitchell Point ↔ Underwood pair is not an isolated two-point claim. The Perceiver's public archive now documents eleven line-of-sight anomalous signature nodes along a clean ~50-mile east-west transect on the Columbia River Gorge — from Warrendale, OR (RM ~140) at the western entrance to The Dalles, OR (RM ~190) at the eastern anchor — including the recently-published 10th-node briefing — a parked, camouflaged, dual-forward-prong craft sitting directly on top of a mountain that itself carries three strong pulsing energy signatures above Warrendale, Oregon (westernmost anchor) and documented underground alien occupancy behind The Dalles, OR (easternmost anchor). A null result on the ³He pair-coupling test would falsify the Communication Hypothesis on this specific evidence channel. It would not falsify the corridor-scale signature pattern, which is independently testable at any of the other ten nodes by the same protocol.

5 · Intellectual honesty — what this brief does not claim

• This brief does not claim the Mitchell Point ↔ Underwood crystals are confirmed communicating. It claims the hypothesis is testable, and it specifies how.
• This brief does not claim ³He is the confirmed transmission medium. It claims ³He is a falsifiable candidate and the cheapest first cut.
• A null result does not invalidate the rest of the archive (visual / infrared / video evidence at the Mitchell Point coordinate, the Pacific Pulse Corridor network observations, witness corroborations). It only invalidates the ³He coupling claim.
• The Perceiver is not a credentialed isotope geochemist. The protocol above is offered for review and refinement by the CVO and PNSN scientific staff who are. Sharpen it. Run it. Publish whatever you find.
